I am a hands on kind of gal, I absolutely love making things myself. I wanted to share some of my projects from the past and present on this page. Please comment if you’d like directions or help with crafts on your own.
Some Bunny is Turning One!!
So excited to be able to make a custom sign for this cute little one-year-old’s birthday. It’s Peter Rabbit themed party, and the Grandmother has taken the reigns on planning. She found an invite on Pinterest with this saying on it, and asked if I could do anything with it. Of course, I accepted happily and was excited to take on the challenge. Here are a couple of pictures I took throughout the craft process.
Printed out a mock up of what I wanted it to look like. Used white transfer paper to trace letters and pictures on to wood. I used a design program to help me keep everything the right height and length. You can kind of see the white marks here from the transfer paper.Lettering is turning out really nice. The spaces between the slats of wood helped to keep everything straight. In addition to that center mark at the top of the sign I made with masking tape.Almost done!!Final product. I am super happy with how it turned out. I am going to attach a small piece of wood to the back, in order to prop it up in a bucket of gravel.
Chug Chug Choo Choo, Someone is turning two!!
I catered my first themed children’s party the other day. Here are some pictures of what I created.
